In portrait mode you can fold the cover back and stand alone. The home screen does not flip to portrait mode. Not sure why they do not allow it, but there's an app for that.


The latest version of this case have all problems corrected. The sleep / wake feature auto works well and does not change the screen off if the lid is flipped all the way around (I received my replacement today). Initial batch of cases of lack of sleep / wake feature and batch auto both cases plagued by problems in which case it will shut off the screen when the cover is flipped all the way around. Batch-third of the cases, which is what you would get if you order now, cause this problem solved.


They also have changed the pieces to the speaker of the slot for the speaker cover half the hole that runs the entire length of the speaker. Now, the sound is no longer blocked from one of the speakers.
